The Dutch presidency was pleased to launch the building blocks for an European Bioeconomy Stakeholders Manifesto during the BioEconomy Utrecht 2016 conference last April.
During this successful two-day conference 300 participants worked together on the most relevant topics of the bioeconomy. The conference accumulated in the Manifesto. Last month we processed the last remarks. Now the Utrecht Manifesto is final!
Time to hand over the good work.
On the 17the of June, the first meeting of the new European Stakeholder Panel took place in Brussels. Around 30 EU-stakeholders from industry, academia, NGO’s and regions will participate in this new Panel. After presentations of DG RTD, AGRI, GROW, ENERGY and JRC, the Dutch presidency handed over the work on the building blocks for an European BioEconomy Stakeholders Manifesto to the Panel. The Utrecht Manifesto will be used in the process to review the 2012 Bioeconomy Stategy.
